Speed includes both moving forward in a straight line (Sprinting) and changing your body’s direction (Agility).

Starting speed, change of direction, footwork, deceleration, & top speed are not only essential to improved athletic performance, they are also measurable.

We will track each athlete’s speed every 60 days with testing to motivate and adjust programming.

Strength & Explosion

Speed is all the ability of your muscles to contract quickly and strongly. The stronger you are relative to your body weight, generally the faster you will be.

This is one of the reasons why strength training is an important component of our speed training programs.

Not only does it help with increasing speed but it also supports healthy bone and muscle development reducing an athlete’s risk of an injury.
