Coach Brandon is from Perry, GA where he first discovered his passion for health and fitness through an active lifestyle in the outdoors and playing sports. He went to Georgia Southern University to earn both his Bachelor’s (2018) and Master’s (2020) degrees in Exercise Science.
During his undergraduate studies, he took time to gain training experience working with the university’s football team and volunteering at local physical therapy clinics. Then after being offered a position at the local fire and police department as a health and performance coach, he decided to stay to pursue his Master’s degree in Exercise Science.
Following graduation he began as a full time personal trainer and supervisor at Sea Island, a Forbes 5-star resort, where he worked the previous two summers as an intern. In addition to his training experience, he has published several papers on training recommendations for first responders, athletes, postpartum, and individuals suffering from PTSD. His career passion is applying the current research in human performance to the training sessions he conducts.
In his time away from training, Brandon enjoys weight lifting, open water swimming on the beach, running, reading, fishing, and pretty much anything that is outdoors and near water.
